We’ve been running trips together for nearly a decade now, and while nothing about the actual adventures is going to change (we will still break down in the middle of nowhere, there will still be questionable roadside snacks, and you’ll still meet lifelong mates you didn’t know you needed) we are levelling things up a little behind the scenes.
From November 1st, 2026, Global Convoy is officially becoming a Private Driving Club. What does that mean? Honestly, not much from your side except a bit more security, freedom, and structure for us to keep running the chaos we all love. Think of it like putting a roll cage on the whole community: same spirit, just a little sturdier.
Membership will be a nominal fee (£10 per year) and it just keeps the wheels turning legally and sustainably. But *drumroll* ... if you sign up for any trip before the 1st of November, your first year is free. No fee, no fuss, you’re covered.
We’re genuinely hyped about this shift because it gives us more freedom to do what we do best: getting everyone out on the road, chasing horizons and embracing questionable ideas that turn into the best memories.
So yeah, big official words like “Private Driving Club” are now in the mix, but at the end of the day? It’s still us, still you, and still the same convoy rolling toward the unknown.
